"Purchase a Book in Memory of... " Program
Did you have a loved one who liked to read? Did they have a favorite author or did they like certain books such as gardening,
mysterys, etc? Would you like to honor their memory by purchasing a book in memory of them?
The Pauline Johnson Library would like to give you this chance. You can either make a donation for a hard or soft cover
book, a specific book title, author, or type of book. On the inside cover an inscription will be printed with the name of
both the donator and the person the book has been purchased in memory of. The book will be placed on the shelves in the library,
and every time the front cover of the book is opened, the inscription will appear, and the loved one will be remembered. For
more information or to purchase a book in memory of a loved one please contact the library.
Video Program
A Pauline Johnson Library Policy does not allow the library to purchase new videos. The Videos that we have in the library
have been borrowed from Public Library Services or have been donated by community members. If you have any videos that you
would like to donate to the library we would be very appreciative. Just drop them off, we would be happy to have them.
Summer Reading Program 2005
This years Summer Reading Program starts on Monday, July 11 and goes till Friday August, 5. The theme this year will
be Blast Off, where the children will be doing activities, crafts, and having a book read to them about space. Every Wednesday,
the children will come in during certain hours to participate in the library activities. This program is a great way to keep
children interested in reading throughout the summer and is something for them to do when they are bored at home. For
more information on the Summer Reading Program, please feel free to contact Jodi Rae at the Pauline Johnson Library at 762-5367.
Thank you and we hope to see you their!
